About Vicky Travlos

A graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, Vicky Travlos holds a bachelor of arts in political science and undertook postgraduate coursework for a master of arts in secondary education. She also completed management training with an emphasis on critical thinking and creative problem solving at New York City’s Learning Tree Management Institute. Over the course of her administrative career, Vicky Travlos has served as a public affairs specialist for New York State Assemblyman Marc Herbst and as an administrative assistant in the Manhattan offices of Calvin Klein.

Vicky Travlos joined the BusinessWeek team in 2000 as a member of its advertising sales department. She subsequently received promotions to the posts of BusinessWeek television operations manager and sales development associate.

Before parting ways with BusinessWeek in 2006, Ms. Travlos served three years as a customer solutions/merchandising associate. This position allowed her to develop account-specific merchandising and value-added proposals throughout North America and to extend the BusinessWeek brand through targeted marketing programs and partnerships.
